About the Role
Basecon Steel Sales is seeking a skilled and reliable Boilermaker to join our team in Brendale. This is a full-time position offering flexible hours, consistent workload, and exposure to a variety of steel and aluminium fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities
-
Fabricate and weld steel and aluminium components (e.g. stair stringers, balustrades, gates)

Interpret and work confidently from workshop drawings
-
Use MIG and TIG welding techniques with clean, consistent results
-
Operate fabrication tools and ensure safety standards are upheld
About You
-
Qualified Boilermaker or experienced 3rd/4th year apprentice
-
Skilled in both steel and aluminium welding (MIG and TIG)
-
Confident reading and interpreting fabrication drawings
-
Detail-oriented with strong work ethic
-
Hold a valid driver’s license and reliable transport
-
White card and forklift license (highly regarded)
